Getting started
Five steps from signup to a published surface.
1. Create your account
Create your PhiWebs account and pick a plan. Sign up with email or Google (GitHub sign-in is on the roadmap — see Integrations). Every plan ships with a real Φ grant from day one — no free trial.
2. Set up your world
After signing up, you will be guided to create your first World. A World is where you organize related surfaces and collaborate with your team.
- Give your World a name (e.g., “Marketing Site” or “Product Docs”)
- Choose a URL slug for your World
- Invite team members (optional — you can do this later)
See Understanding Worlds for the full model.
3. Create your first surface
Click the New Surface button (or Cmd/Ctrl + N) and choose from templates or start from scratch.
- Start from template — Choose from landing pages, documentation sites, dashboards, and more.
- Start from scratch — Build your surface block by block with complete creative freedom.
See Create your first surface for the receipt-by-receipt flow.
4. Add content with blocks
Surfaces are built using blocks — reusable components like headers, feature sections, testimonials, and more. Drag and drop blocks to build your page.
Each block has customizable properties. Click on any block to edit its content, colors, spacing, and other settings.
5. Preview and publish
Use preview mode to see how your surface looks on different devices. When you’re happy with the result, click Publish to make your surface live.
- Share via a PhiWebs link immediately
- Connect your own custom domain (Pro and Enterprise plans)
- Embed on your existing website
